Community Grant Program

FY 2024-25 Community Grant Applications Closed

The purpose of the City's Community Grant Program is to strengthen our sense of community through partnerships with local nonprofits to administer events, services, activities, and purchases more efficiently and economically than otherwise possible through the municipal corporation.

The Community Grant Program is guided by Council Policy 28. Council Policy 28 outlines the program's mission statement, goals and objectives, funding formula, eligibility requirements, grant types, grant evaluations and recommendations, and reporting requirements. Please review Council Policy 28 if you are interested in applying for a Community Grant.

For more information, please contact Kelli Maples via email.

To be eligible for a Community Grant, organizations must:

1) Be a legal, tax-exempt/not for profit organization (501(c)3 or 501(c)6) as defined by the Internal Revenue Code, and
2) Be located or functioning within the City of Coronado and provide services that benefit the Coronado community
*Fraternal, political, or religious organizations are not eligible to apply for funding.
